Well, the best place to start this new blog is at the beginning. So, here I go.
In 1971 a cute brown eyed, brown haired girl was born at Loring AFB.
Literally, it was only 10 minutes away from the Canadian border.
And when winter set in the fun began. Snow forts galore.
There was where Moose loose as well.
Unfortunately the base no longer exists.
When Clinton was in office the base was shut down
So you could say my home town where I lived
from 1971 to 1983, is gone.
What do I call home now?
