Next on my adventures was a walk through history with Virginia. My grandparents lived there for a brief time. While visiting them my family visited Jamestown. The Jamestown colony was established in 1607. That's right the first America’s first permanent English colony.
The first two English women arrived at Jamestown in 1608.
Men outnumbered women, for most of the 17th century.
